A unique combination of book launch, dramatic reading with music, and fund-raising event for environmental organizations, this event features Booker Prize-winning author Atwood joined with George Washington University students. They will dramatically interpret select scenes from her newest novel, The Year of the Flood. The novel focuses on “God’s Gardeners,” who attempt to reconcile religion, science, and nature.
Atwood has written more than 35 volumes of poetry, fiction and nonfiction, including the best-selling novels The Handmaid’s Tale and The Blind Assassin.
