Adrianna Smith with a Poetry Workshop for DC Students — a Bridge Builder Event
Adrianna Smith is a writer based in Washington, D.C. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Poet Lore and The Beltway Poetry Quarterly, which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and her freelance work has appeared in the Atlantic, Washington City Paper and Washington Post. A graduate of the 2019 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference at Middlebury, she holds degrees in English from the University of St. Andrews and Georgetown University. She hosts the monthly Makars Open Mic Series which draws an average audience of 50 people and performers of all art genres. She believes we should meet each other by what we make.
