Lisa Weinert with Narrative Healing Workshop — HBE VIRTUAL BRIDGE BUILDER EVENT
Lisa Weinert founded the Narrative Healing program because she is passionate about the healing power of storytelling. She is a publishing expert who has worked with hundreds of award-winning and bestselling authors as an editor, publicist, and literary coach; and she is a yoga teacher trained in restorative, therapeutic, and trauma-informed yoga. Her career trajectory includes nearly a decade at Vintage Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, and faculty positions at Wesleyan University and Kripalu Center for Yoga Health. Her unique experiences in publishing and wellness have revealed to her that yoga and writing go hand in hand—each unlock the stories we carry.
Since the COVID pandemic, she expanded the Narrative Healing program and created a flourishing online community and classroom where she offers weekly classes, private literary coaching, literary mastermind intensives, literary events, and community gatherings. She also speaks regularly at The Rubin Museum, Omega Institute, and writing conferences, such as AWP. You can read more about her offerings on her websites— www.lisaweinert.com and www.narrativehealing.com—and check out the Narrative Healing community here.
